I have very mixed feelings about this book.

It started off kind of iffy, then it slowly built into something better and better and better with each turn of the page. 

And then the author gave this really crappy ending. As in, not quite an ending and just completely unrealistic. 

Will I finish this series? Probably. I can't help but hope the writing continues to be as good as it was in this book...and that the real climax to this series will be spectacular!

It's just one of those books you have to read to believe. It is very complicated and yet, made simple by the author.

I went back and forth between liking Ashley - the main character - and not liking her...she is the perfect martyr. 

Some elements of the book didn't need to be included (like a two page visit from a mom who was completely absent before and after that). 

Recommended for those who enjoy a good paranormal romance, and don't mind cheesy authors.
