I bought this as a boxed set and I really enjoyed the books!

Two guys are looking for one special lady willing to take them both on...literally. And not just for sex but for an ongoing committed relationship.

It follows the relationship through the ups and downs...

And it is totally worth the time to read. I enjoyed this author.

There is a level of depravity exhibited by this author that I like. I enjoy reading her works because she has the ability to make the taboo (the girl who is raped but enjoys) into something that feels normal.

She says no while her body says yes, and feminists will hate this book. But those of us (ah-hem...me) who enjoy the taboo will love this short story.

Worth the read if this is your cup of tea.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review and I feel kind of bad for the author that what I have for a review isn't much.

This book follows a fairy who had her wings cut off...for some reason that means she loses her magic so she decides to go live in the human world.

I don't know what else to say about the book...It just didn't leave me with any lasting impressions to share.

It was interesting, well written, and I will follow the series.

I almost 4.5 starred this for the predictable ending...but then I just couldn't because the story had been so great.

Now first off let me remind you that I don't do GLBT books. The first "romantic" scene in this book is between two men. That not only shocked me, but it also surprised me with how well it was written.

This book keeps the reader "in the zone". I was able to see this book playing like a movie in my head...and this one could definitely become a great movie.

There is so much I would love to tell you about this book... so many scenes I fell in love with, but really I feel like I would be doing you a disservice.

Just read this book. If you like romance novels, BDSM, and hardcore sex scenes, this book is right up your alley. If you don't like this stuff (well, sorry for you) you won't enjoy this novel.

But, it was awesome! I can't wait to read more from this author!

An author I enjoy no longer has her books available for purchase!!! I purchased the first one and planned to follow the series but they have disappeared off of Amazon, Barnes and Nobel, AND Powells books!!!

I am sure she is probably a victim of being bullied and decided being an author was no longer worth it...I have been there and it sucks!

If I could give half stars I would have given this book 4.5 stars.

I usually stay away from part one of whatever series but this author did something new. She named how many parts her book was, told the readers when the whole story would be available for purchase, and set her chapters at a fair price.

This first part was fast paced and easy to read. If this had been the complete book I would never have put it down where this one ended! I will have to follow this series (once it is released as a complete book in September 2015).

I honestly don't know what to say about these chapters without ruining the surprises for you...

So my honest opinion is this, if you like sci-fi and you like romance novels, this IS the book for you. I was immediately drawn into this book and am greatly disappointed that I don't have the rest of it to devour right now!

Worth the price and more than worth reading.

Okay, where do I start?

From the beginning Lukas is a domineering, stalkerish, psychopath. It is hard to get behind him as the male lead in this book. I mean seriously, think caveman issues. He is constantly telling Alexia that she is his by saying "Mine."

The jealously Lukas displays from the very beginning is scary and obssessive. I don't understand why the author chose to depict a character, that we are supposed to like, in such a way. He is controlling and just creepy. I kept expecting him to kidnap her or kill her...and he sorta does kidnap her once or twice.

In the very end, Lukas does kind of redeem himself, but not enough in my opinion. 

Unless you like asshats as your main male lead in your book, this may not be the book for you.

Between being Bi-polar and being severely depressed, it has been a long time since I have been on this site...But, I finally have good news!

My book, Betrothed to a Vampire is available for pre-release purchase! It is set to be released September 1st!

Hopefully I will get back to reviewing soon. Now that the kiddo's are starting school, I may actually have a little time to catch up on my seriously long backlog of books I have read but need to write the reviews for.

I read the description and the title...this book doesn't fit any of the descriptions given.

Overall, I guess it wasn't a bad read for a YA vampire novella.

But, what is it with these authors? I mean, I just don't get it. Don't you want your title to match your book? Shouldn't your description explain what the book you are about to read is about?

Sigh...well, I read it and I don't plan on reading number two. This book was nothing but politics and a few parties and a whole lot of dialogue. 

I guess it could get better, but this one doesn't make me want to stick around to find out.

 I am sorry but....

You don't "message your clitoris" and you certainly don't "massaging him cock".

A basic beta reader should have caught these mistakes. Hell, a BAD beta should have caught these!!!

So far I am thinking this author either needs to invest in an editor or she needs to just stop writing.

Harsh words I know...but I am so sick and tired of reading this trash!!! If you want a glowing review, invest in your work and for gods sake at least pretend to take pride in it.

     I expected this book to be a romance of some sort....and it kind of was....But it was completely misleading.

     When you read a title like "Reluctant Concubine" you EXPECT it to have some steamy scenes. You expect some actual romance. Instead this book is more like a fantasy book with a little romance thrown in as an afterthought.

     I rated this book as a 2.5 stars for being a YA fantasty (I will  not even grace it with the title of being a romance novel because it is NOT) that was enjoyable. I purchased this book however looking for exactly what the title and the description promised but never delivered...Romance, sex scenes, something I wouldn't let my twelve year old read.

    Enjoyable read if that is the kind of book you are looking for.

Now that I am just about ready to send my book off to my editor...

1. I find out that not only do I need a new beta.

2. I need a new editor.

3. This just sucks!

How did everyone just disappear in under a year? I kept all the contact info but one isn't doing it anymore and the other hasn't gotten back to me in a week!

Sigh...back to square one...find an affordable editor and beta.

I think I need to start putting all of my books in a folder as soon as they are downloaded....to be read in a folder, read for review in another, just for fun in yet another...I have no idea anymore which ones I am supposed to review and which ones don't matter...

I just finished my YA short called Betrothed to a Vampire! Now I just need to get a cover, get it edited, and get it published...wish me luck!

SOOOO.....

Every single time I think I can be back on here consistently, something happens.

This time it goes like this...

1. Husband totals his van, needs my van for transportation to and from work.

2. I buy husband new van two weeks later (insurance company took forever).

3. Said van is infested with cockroaches (no...seriously).

4. Bomb house, bomb van....no more bugs.

5. Decided to do small job in house (replacing caulking) discover BIG issue.

I didn't expect to be doing a full bathroom model this week...but I guess I will be...

This is how my year is going. I have a half written story, a full biography, and no time to finish either of them up.

Somehow, I don't think I am making my reading goal...not because I haven't done the reading but because I just don't have that much time to get the reviews written.

Once my house is all put back together, I am sure I will have more time...but I just don't know when that will be.

If you are actually missing me, I am more than happy to PM my phone number and chat away. I miss talking books or anything else.
