I think I need a new editor.
Six weeks...that is how long it has been since I last heard from my editor.
Unless the world ended, or she is dead, there is no excuse NOT to fire off a quick email explaining why you will be MIA for a while.
She is paid in full for the book she is almost done editing...and she told me to expect to hear back from her by November 12th...as in, the final edits would be complete and we were ready to publish. And I haven't heard a word.
So, now I think I need recommendations to a good editor...anyone know of one?
