A book to read with your kids.
I purchased this book at the insistence of my 11 year old daughter. She didn't tell me until after I read it that it was a book she was reading in school so I read it to make sure it was age appropriate for her.
That being said, Bud, not Buddy was a very good read.
It is all about this kid named Bud who was orphaned when his mother died unexpectedly. He runs away and goes on a quest to find his father.
Every step of the way, this book was about finding home.
So many things could have gone wrong for Bud, but due to an amazing amount of luck, he gets all the help he needs along the way.
Worth the read and a great book to read with your kids.
