Strangely Sober - Essa Alroc This book is on my shelve of books to read again. I don't know that I had any idea of what I was getting myself into when I started this.

Sal, the main character, is slowly going insane. She knows it and has set herself up with an iron clad, legal guardian, whose job it is to know when she was too far gone and commit her.

Interestingly, Sal is also the leader of an illegal group of misfits who walk on the wrong side of the law. She has decided on a very lonely path and doesn't want to get involved in a relationship.

I just don't know how to explain what made this story so great. Was it the times when Sal slips into her "alter ego" or how she behaves normally? The love story that is intertwined?

Who knows? And that is exactly why this book is great enough to be added to the shelf of books I want to re-read =)

Recommended for anyone who enjoys a novel that holds your attention to the very end.
