This book...was completely...ARGH!!!It starts out with just a plain Jane woman, Jean, and her incredibly boring life...She goes to a fundraiser, and there is a massive earthquake. She is injured but survives.
Shortly after she awakes earth is suddenly attacked by goblins and she is snatched up by a elvin princess who saves her....
The book just gets stranger from there...
There WERE aspects of the book that I enjoyed BUT everything that makes a story enjoyable for me was watered down...the violence? Watered down. The romance? Watered down. Ultimately, it was a fluffy, fantasy romance.
I guess if you like your books watered down, this is a good book for you...but, I just wasn't pulled into this one.
